And the size is a big problem for online selling. That's why all our main silk products made to measure. Please do leave us your bust, waist, hips girth, height and taste for loose fit or slim fit. We will try our best to make the perfect size for you. Moreover, we also can change the collar, placket, sleeve, cuffs, hems types for free, we also can add or remove pockets, buttons for free. Two Methods Made to Measure:
1. Made to your body measurements:
Please leave us message to tell us your neck, chest, waist, hips circumference, shoulder width and your taste prefer loose fit or slim fit, so we can make accordingly.
Normally, the dress shirt or blouse bigger than your body measurements, the difference we call ease space, this ease space mainly for movement and comfortable. The amount of ease space mainly depends on the fabric, your taste and your figure, please refer SisterSilk Size Guide for more information.
For men's dress shirt, normally we will make the collar bigger about 1-2cm or half inch around your neck, 14 cm or 5.5 inches bigger than your chest. The shirt waist smaller about 4cm than chest, hems same to waist, so you can ease tuck it in your pants.
For women's loose fit silk blouse without waist darts, we will make the blouse 10cm or 4 inches bigger around your bust, the waist smaller about 6cm or 2.4 inches than chest. the hems bigger about 6cm or 2.4 inches than chest. Because lady's hips bigger about 5-10cm or 2-4 inches than chest and normally they don't like to tuck the hems inside the bottoms.
For women's slim fit silk blouse with waist darts, we will make the blouse 4cm or 1.6 inches bigger around your bust, the waist smaller about 16cm or 6.3 inches than chest. the hems bigger about 6cm or 2.4 inches than chest.
If you have big belly, then please pay attention to the waist part to ensure it will fit you well.
Except the size, please also tell us the shirt and sleeve length, we have stated the default length on description, it suggests for men's height 170-175cm or 6ft7in-6ft9in, women's height 163-168cm or 5ft4in-5ft6in.

2. Made to sample measurements:
This is the easier and better way, it can ensure the size same to your loved one, but please be noted that most silk fabric without elastic, so please use same without elastic as sample.
Please measure below measurements and tell us:
Collar circumference when button up.
Chest width (armpit to armpit)
Waist width (the smallest line)
Hems width
Shirt back center line length (from bottom of collar to end of hem)
Shirt front center line length (from bottom of collar to end of hem, in case back panel longer than front panel)
The sleeve length (from shoulder point to end of cuffs, there are two ways to calculate the sleeve length, some countries measure from the nape point through the shoulder then along the arm to the end of cuffs.)
Sleeve bicep width.
Cuffs width and height when button up.
It needs take some time to measure these measurements, but you definitely worth to do it, one perfect fits silk shirt will happy you for a few years. When you receive one wrong size silk shirts, how disappoint you will be.
Change Collar Types:
For men's silk dress shirt, there are 24 types collar for your choice, if you want to change the collar to below any type, please tell us the collar name you want, then we will change the default one to the one you want. All is free.
Change Placket Types:
There are two types of placket for men's silk dress shirt for your choice, it is free for exchange.
For women's silk blouse, besides above two types of placket, you also can add ruffles along the placket, there is more other changes, but we could charge you extra material cost.
Change Sleeves Types:
The sleeve length can be made at any length, below picture shows the different length of sleeves.
We also can make other types of sleeves, like normal set in sleeves, raglan sleeves, puff sleeves, tulip sleeves, ruffled sleeves, etc. Details please refer 32 Types of Silk Clothing Sleeve
Change Cuffs Types:
For men's silk dress shirt, you can change any one of below 4 types of cuffs, it's free.
For women's silk blouse, there are more changes, if you send us picture, we can make for you.
Change Hems Types:
There are two types of hems for our silk dress shirt (blouse) as below picture, but there have more changes:
1. You can add slit on the side seam, you can define the slit length, it's free.
2. You can define the curve height, we will make accordingly, it's free.
3. You can require to make the back panel longer than front panel, please tell us how much longer, the shirts total length will calculate on the back panel.
Add or Remove Pockets, Buttons:
You can require to add or remove the chest pockets, it's free.
You can require to add more buttons, normally we use MOP buttons for the dress shirt and blouse, but MOP buttons we only have natural white or black colors as below picture.
For women's silk blouse, maybe you can consider silk fabric wrapped buttons, so the color can be exactly matched to the silk blouse. Please refer below picture for silk fabric wrapped buttons.
Add or Remove Back Yoke:
For men's silk dress shirt default with back yoke, if you don't want it, we can make it without back yoke.
For women's silk blouse, default without back yoke, if you want, we can add it.
Make Fabric Reverse Side:
Because silk charmeuse (satin) is one side glory and another side dull, we can make the silk dress shirt (blouse) with glory or smooth side close to skin and the dull side face outside as below picture. So it more comfortable and not so shinning. It's free.
Contrast Colors and Double Layers:
The small components like collar, pockets, placket, cuffs,etc can be chaged to other colors, it's free.
The silk dress shirt (blouse) can be made with double layers with same color or different color, so both faces smooth and shinning, more comfortable and you can wear with either face.
